Operating Principle

System designed for the individual extraction of foul air and renovation in the homes of multifamily buildings. Its operation based on the principle of air sweeping inside the houses, is completely independent among them offering an excellent balance between guarantee of indoor air quality and autonomy of consumption according to occupancy and use.

Operating Principle

The Controlled Mechanical Ventilation (VMC) system of simple flow is applicable to collective and individual habitat, being its permanent operation, ensuring the Quality of the Indoor Air through the principle of sweeping the air within the house. The foul air is extracted in the kitchen, bathrooms and toilets through the mouths connected to the Group through smooth and rigid ducts. New air penetrates through standard or acoustic self-regulating air inlets located above bedroom windows and living rooms. This is the principle of sweeping the air inside the house.

VMC dual flow

Double flow ventilation is a system that ensures air quality, through the extraction of foul air in wet rooms (kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, laundry rooms, …) and that simultaneously ensures the insufflation of new filtered air in the dry rooms (living room, dining room, bedrooms,…).

GREAT THERMAL COMFORT AND ENERGY SAVING:

In WINTER the new air recovers the calories from the foul air that we extract from the house, thanks to the presence of a heat exchanger ( 92 recovery), helping to maintain the temperature in the house. When there is 5oC on the outside and 20o C inside, the new air enters 19oC. In SUMMER the new air that enters the house is cooled thanks to the stale air that we extract from the house, thanks to the presence of a thermal exchanger (92 recovery), avoiding the overheating of the house. When there is 30oC outside and 21oC inside, the new air enters 22oC only, cooling in summer.

Beginning

In buildings with other non-residential uses, in order to limit thermal losses, the most effective solution is to adapt air renewal flows to the actual occupation of the premises. Indeed, the occupancy rate (frequency of use x fill rate) of premises such as offices or meeting rooms is very reliable.

How?

Using the “turnkey” solutions under the RITE: • VISIOVENT (all or little ventilation) • VARIVENT (proportional ventilation).

VISIOVENT “All or little” ventilation with DIP presence detector

These solutions allow savings of up to 35 in air renewal flows.
Beginning In in-occupancy, during a period of ventilation operation, the flow of the premises corresponds to 10 of the nominal flow, this flow commonly called “purge flow” is intended for the post or pre-ventilation of the premises. In occupancy the nominal flow rate is obtained thanks to presence detection. Nominal flow rates are determined by RITE regulations.

Please note that a watch must cut off the ventilation at night, but must be operational again at least one hour before the site is occupied.

VARIVENT “Proportional” ventilation with CO2 catcher

These solutions provide savings that can be 70 in air renewal flows.
Beginning In in-occupancy the flow rate corresponds to a 10 of the nominal flow rate, as in the “all or little” system. In variable occupancy the air renewal flow varies according to the number of occupants [depending on the rate of carbon dioxide (CO2). In maximum occupancy, it passes to the nominal flow rate. Nominal flow rates are determined by RITE regulations.

SCHEME OF PRINCIPLESMONOZONA: The fan controls a single location (example: meeting room). In “all or little” solution the fan must ensure 2 flow rates (minimum flow rate and nominal flow). In “proportional” solution, the fan speed must be adapted to the actual occupancy conditions of the premises. MULTIZONE: the fan controls several premises (e.g. meeting room + office). With this configuration, which can be “all or little” or “proportional”, the catchers or probes act on the terminals (mouths, all or little records, proportional records …) making the fan adapt to variations in demand.
